Limited to 30 participants, each lunch will allow you to speak with your table mates on the Table Topic of the day, provided by our sponsor, Northern Trust. So come and enjoy lunch with ACG, make new connections, and strengthen your existing networks.

WHO:

ACG Western Michigan Members and Guests*

WHAT:

April's Table Topic is Planning Purposefully. Historically, beneficiaries learned of wealth transfer plans only after the death of the grantor. However, this approach often leads to unanswered questions. The Statement of Wealth Transfer can help facilitate a more harmonious and purposeful transfer of both wealth and family values.

Join us for networking and a directed discussion centered on the takeaway document, Transfer Wealth Purposefully with a Statement of Intent. We'll discuss the questions you and your clients should consider to reflect on your underlying philosophy regarding the role of wealth in your life. Here are a few samples:

  • Do you consider wealth to be a mechanism for protecting future generations?
  • Do you expect your family members to create their own wealth?
  • Should your trusts be viewed as a resource to supplement family members' well-being or are they a last resort for family members with unexpected circumstances?

WHEN:

Thursday, April 27

12 - 1 PM

WHERE:

Sundance Grill @ The Waters Center
