Navigating the Maze of Exit Planning

• How to find a buyer?
• What’s the price?
• When to sell?
• Who can help?

Join us in welcoming John Brown of the Business Enterprise Institute, and author of Exit Planning: The Definitive Guide along with Mike Brown of Charter Capital PartnersAs you might guess, these two who have a lot more in common than financial, M&A, and investment experience.

Exit planning is a process. Understanding the owner’s goals and existing resources is a key piece of the puzzle. It takes a team. The primary benefit of an exit planning team is the preparation of owners and businesses for a sale well before the sale process begins. It involves understanding the owner’s goals, existing resources, as well as the resources needed to achieve those goals through a third-party sale. Pre-sale preparation increases the sale price and avoids “Deal Killers.”

This is a unique opportunity for West Michigan to hear from the premiere expert in the field of exit planning. Join us on October 20.

Our speakers:

John Brown, Founder, Business Enterprise Institute (exitplanning.com),

author Exit Planning: The Definitive Guide

Mike Brown, Partner & Managing Director, Charter Capital Partners
